sometimes its hard to get my imagination going and I need to feed it. I have a large perspex box which I fill with stuff, photograph it or draw it and then it becomes a starting point in my paintings. I do not copy the set -ups literally they just remind me that there are different points of view, foreground, shadow etc....
scattered process and progress
I will post some of my progress shots, some of my varied experiments and general studio stuff here. I am an artist with no style or direction but an insatiable curiosity, which makes me a bit of a jack of all trades, factotum etc....if you visit and enjoy it please leave a comment Cheers :-)

process
I have doodled my pattern for the background and chosen an oval that appeals to me.
The stains have suggested an image to me, which I sketch out lightly, and then I fill in shadows and look for more form. the image becomes clearer, then I add finishing touches...... that is how I have made the page I have called 'light snow'......
